Cyritous, Temple Of The Orb Of Karinos by xzendor7 Cyritous, Temple Of The Orb Of Karinos by xzendor7
Cyritous, Temple Of The Orb Of Karinos Is A Strange But Majestic Creation The Merges Technology And Magic Into One; Making It Difficult To Know Where One Begins And The Other Ends.

Created In A Time Where The Master Of Technology And Magic Ruled The Cosmos, This Massive Structure Is One Of The Last Symbols Of Their Genius.

Beyond What We Know Of Magic And Beyond Any Technology We Are Capable Of Understanding, Cyritous, The Temple Of The Orb Of Karinos Is A Beauty To Behold As Each Part Of The Structure Flow One Into The Other.

Care Must Be Taken Not To Stray From The Path That Has Been Laid Out As Safe; For One Can Easily Be Absorbed Into This Colossus Of Creation And Never Be Heard From Again.

Since It's Creators Are Long Since Gone; We Presume They Passed Beyond The Rim Of The Universe Where We Are Unable To Follow. There Is No One That Can Tell Us The Purpose Of The Temple Or How It Works; So All We Can Do As All Primitive Species Must, Is Wonder And Speculate As Spectators Viewing From A Distance.

Cyritous, Temple Of The Orb Of Karinos Is Composed Of 104 Fractal Objects Comprising 35 Fractal Elements Created With The Fractron 9000 Fractal Generator; Assembled And Post Processed With The Photo Elements Image Editor.

You're Right Renee', This One Took Some Doing.

I Removed A Lot Of The Early Fractals That Made Up This Piece And Moved Away From The Architectural Structure Rising Out Of Stone For A More Dramatic Look That Takes One Into The Image.

The Three Background Fractals Give It A Sense Of Mystery And Also Provide The Look As If This Is Underground Or In A Massive Cave.

Thanks For Commenting.

Glad You Liked It Shervan.

The Machine I Work On Is A Mid Range Machine, The Limiting Factor Is The Application (PE7 Is 32bit Limiting File Sizes To 2GB) And On Board Memory For The Most Part.

Since PE7 Doesn't See The Systems Full Memory It Can't Use It To Boost Operational Performance Causing A Lot Of Disc Caching Of The Fractal Elements I Work With.

Also You'll Note That Most Of My Images Are Dark In Nature, Due To The Nature Of The Fractals I Produce.  This Helps In Reducing File Size Since My Color Palette Is A Small One.  I Also Clean Up My Fractal Images Of Has Much Fractal Noise As I Can Which Can Dramatically Reduce File Size.

If I Had Photoshop CS6 And Fractron 9000 Allowed For A Much Large Working Buffer I Could Create Images Up to 100,000 Pixels Wide Most Likely And I Would Be Able To Save Files In The 10 To 20GB Range Before Processing Down To Jpeg Or Something Else.

Right Now I'm Limited To 2GB With My Jpegs Running Up To 70MB Depending On Dimensions, Color Complexity And Any Image Effects Like Noise Or Craquelure That I Add To Them.

Ideally For Me, A Good Performance Machine Would Be Based On An Intel i7 Core 3930 (4770 As A Second Choice) With 64GB Of DDR3 Ram Half Of Which Would Be Used As A Ram Disk For Almost Instantaneous Processing.

A 256GB SSD For The OS And Application, A 3TB Hard Drive For Storage Of Generated Data And A Blu-ray Burner - Since DVD Disc Fill Up To Fast.

For The Graphics Card An Radeon HD 7970 Will Work Fine (2 Would Be Ideal For Fractron 9000 As Everything Generated Would Be Nearly Instantaneous).  I Chose An Radeon Since AMD's Support For Compute Performance Is Currently Much Better Than Nvidia; And Several Graphics Apps I Working With Due Support GPU Processing In Part Or Whole.

My system limits me as well :(. I do have photoshop CS6 but no tablet and an on board graphics card. My system memory can't cope with large images. My limit is usually up to 5000 by 5000. I could imagine the masterpieces you would make if you had what you needed.

When you say on board graphics, do you mean that the CPU contains the graphics hardware?

If so does your motherboard and BIOS allow for the installation of PCIe 2.0 Graphics Card; if that's the case and money is tight Id consider an Nvidia GTX650, AMD HD 6850 Or HD 7750 as low to mid range performing cards or if you want to sit solidly in the mid range area an AMD HD 7850 or Nvidia GTX 660.

To get a side by side performance and price comparison of video cards go to GPUBoss www.gpuboss.com

Though the 7850 cost about $75 more than the 7750 it's performance is almost twice that of the 7750 which is a good bang for the buck.

The GTX 660 is on par with the HD 7850 but cost about $30 bucks more than the 7850.

The HD 7750 is on par with the GTX 650; with the 650 costing about 20% more than the 7750.  Both cards can be found for between $90 and $150

Check Out My Amazon Graphics Card Site RadeonHD7970.com - radeonhd7970.com, Or Look At Pricegrabber Or Any Of The Other Price Comparison Sites For A Price Point You Can Deal With.

I forgot to mention that I use a laptop. It's the graphics processor that came with the laptop. It's an intel graphics media accelerator. My laptop doesn't allow for modifications except for RAM changes but I suppose It can use external graphics cards. Thanks alot for the info. I'll surely check out the hardware you suggested :D

I See?

Here's An Article On Just That:
www.techradar.com/us/news/comp...

The Problem Is The Cost Of The Adapter, Graphics Card And Power Supply May Not Be Worth The Effort; Add To That The Need For An Enclosure.

I Know In The Past Laptop Manufactures Use To Offer Extender Modules, But I Don't Think That's The Case Anymore Due To The Power Increases We See In Today's Hardware.
