At This Point And Only At This Point In Our Realm Of Existence Can We Explore One Without Interference Of The Other And Without Fear Of Disrupting All That Has Come Before Us.

But For Such A Thing To Be Possible, We Must Be Willing To Pay A Great Price; For All That One Cherishes, Even The Flesh Itself Must Be Sacrificed In Attainment Of All The Knowledge That Is To Be Gained.

For This Knowledge Is For The Self And Can Never Be Shared; For Once The Transformation Is Complete One Is No Longer Part Of This Realm Of Existence; Which Is Why There Are So Few Willing To Explore The Eternal Forces That Govern Eternity...


A Little Bit About The Creation Of The Vision Of Tremilin:
The Vision Of Tremilin Contains 81 Fractal Objects, Comprising 30 Fractal Elements Created With The Fractron 9000 Fractal Generator; Assembled And Post Processed Using The Photo Elements Image Editor.

The Tonal Variations That Give The Piece Depth, A Pseudo 3D Look And A Sense Of Mystery Were Achieved By Using Several Adjustment Layers; Some Of Which Were Tied To Specific Fractal Elements.

The Pillar Type Fractals Have A Craquel Texture Applied To Them To Give Them A More Solid Stone Like Look; While With Some Of The Cloud Fractals I Applied A Gaussian Blur To Remove The Uneven Graininess Of The Elements And Then I Applied Noise To Give Them Some Texture.

The Planet Was Created Using Three Fractals, One For The Outer Atmosphere Ring And Two For The Sphere; To Which I Then Added An Adjustment Layer So That I Could Manipulate The Tonal Qualities So That It Looks Like Light Is Shining On The Planet From A 45 Degree Angle From The Left.

Since Most Of The Fractals Have The Screen Property Applied To Them, For Those Fractals Elements That I Did Not Want An Overlapping Merge I Added A Color Filled Under Layer Making The Fractal Look Solid.

A Good Example Of This Is The Steps Area Where I Have A Partial Bleed On The First And Last Steps, But A Nice Solid Look For The Steps In Between.

What Makes The Piece Work Though Is The Proper Selection Of Fractal Elements And Positioning The Elements So That They Complement Each Other In Building A Fantasy Realm Type Image.
