Unknown Frontiers by xzendor7 Unknown Frontiers by xzendor7
As Technologies Progress, The Ability To Explore From The Inner Depths To The Vast Outer Reaches Of Space Becomes More Of A Grand Possibility.

When Our Time Comes we Will Set Foot In The Unknown Frontiers That Abound Throughout The Universe.

Thus Completing The Cycle In The Journey That Is The Grand Scheme Of Creation.

This Is A Another Fractal Composition Which I Hope You Will Enjoy For It's Subtleness And Beauty.

i could almost tell
what was going on
in the thumbnail

now i see nothing
`__` ??

it's convoluted by a watermark
unless the watermark is a company logo
on a space station window in the future???

This One Took About Three Weeks
I Started With Two Terrain Looking Fractal Element
Duplicated About 9 Times
Flipped Stacked And Positioned

Then Added My Winged Fire Fractal For The Molten Look
Then Added My Rock Looking Fractal At The Bottom
Then Add My Planet And Sun Fractals
A Nebula Fractal Was Added
Nebula Star Fractal Background Added
A Cave Looking Fractal Was Also Added And Trimmed Out

The Ship Looking Fractal Was Added And Kept In A Dark Area To Hide The See Through Portions And Highlight The Lighted Portions

The Probe Is A Combination Of Several Other Fractals That Make It Look Like It's Lighting The Surroundings Of Another Cave Fractal

The Vapors, Fog And The Clouds Are Another Nebula Fractal

The Finishing Touch That Gives It The 3D Look Is A Black Overlay In Which The Properties Are Adjusted To Produce Just The Right Look

It Took A Lot Of Trial And Error To Get Right And A Lot Of Patience Since The Size Of The File Grew To A Point The PhotoImpact Had A Hard Time Manipulating
Oo wow three weeks ...Ohh so you can add fractals to? So do you save them in a PNG format?

I Save Them In PNG To Avoid Any Quality Loss Issues Like You'll End Up With When Using JPG

Also Since I Some Times Scale These Up, I Want To Have A Pure As Possible Image That I Can

Though Unknown Frontiers Was Not A Problem Because Each Image I Was Working With Was About 3200px By 2400px

With So Many Layers With Images This Large PhotoImpact Can Come To A Crawl Before Eventually Crashing

I've Have A Copy Of Photo Elements So I Need To Start Learning How To Work With It As Well As Gimp Since It's Supposed To Be Very Close To PS In Terms Of Functionality And Performance
wow I have lots to learn yet :) I will start saving them as a PNG as well. Thank you :)
